Facebook quick filter
Filter by ROI asc.
Get the top 5-10 unique ads with the lowest ROI.
Pull out the filter window and type those ad's in the content filter so you can see only those ad's results.
Click on the customer journey icon.
The bars tell why, the ROI tells how well, the ad tells what, the rev tells how much.
Make note of the ads and see what adsets you have run against them so you can turn them off, or test a new adset , or test an adset that has the intent that is for a different part of the customer journey, or the correct adset cold/warm traffic for where that ad is in your customer journey.
Lousy ads might just be lousy. But they also might be the victim of being shown to adsets that have cold/warm targeting that doesn't match where they are in your sales lifecycle. If the ad is for cold traffic, but the adsets are warm traffic, test out on a cold traffic adset, before giving up on it.
Additionally, click on the benchmark icon for that row. Pick the attribution model / intent, and you vs. yourself benchmark. See how this row's performance compares against your past.
